Although SONY is famous for bringing in the Carl Zeiss lens, there are other brands that have the same feature already. Not to mention they have better quality. I am personally not a SONY fan although it was the first camera that I owned. Now I am using Panasonic, a semi-pro camera, that is also very handy, has better quality, and probably just a little bit more priced at $425. Well worth it and still very compact but allowing for manual mode when needed. Check it out.
