		<description>If you want a good camera, that is handy, affordable, and would take good pictures, then you might want to consider other brands. Although SONY is famous for bringing in the Carl Zeiss lens, there are other brands that have the same feature already. Not to mention they have better quality. 

I am personally not a SONY fan although it was the first camera that I owned. Now I am using Panasonic, a semi-pro camera, that is also very handy, has better quality, and probably just a little bit more priced at $425. 

So before buying any camera, check out the other options that you have first so that you will be sure that you did not waste your money. :)

		<description>You should seriously consider the Leica D-Lux 3 closer to $600 but 5X the point and shoot with three pictures modes up to 6x9 it shoots RAW and has amazing German optics along with a bulit-in wide angle lens that is to die for. Well worth it and still very compact but allowing for manual mode when needed. Check it out. You will not be sorry.
