Beer is a tasty treat.. the colder the better..
My favorites are: (no particular order.. I just like beer.. )
Beck's
Foster's (Oz - not imported)
Mickey's Ice 40's
Steel Reserve 211 40's
Spaten Optimator..mmmmm
Cooper's Stout
Hefeweizen - several brands
Guiness Stout.. do a ice cold shot of peppermint schnaps and chase it with the stout.. 2 times per bottle

For fun try this:
"LIquid Cocaine"
all halfs shots: Grey Goose Vodka or Chopin Potato Vodka, Jagermeister, Goldslchager, Rumplemintz.
Shaker with shaved ice.. pour in a glass..
drink as a double shot.. chase with your favorite ice cold beer.
En"LightNing!!" to say the least....

I'm drooling...right now...really. Great list. I share about half of those choices with you, although they're all delish.

I haven't been to Canada in a while, but I love the place. I've been to Toronto and Montreal many times; Halifax, Winnepeg and Vancouver just once. Fortunately these trips were back in my beer drinking days, so I did get to sample quite a few Canadian beers. On the rare occasions that I have one now it's usually a Black & Tan. Saranac, Yuengling and McSorley's are the easiest to find in this area, but in my opinion, nothing beats a Mississippi Mud!

Lovely to see the Newcastle Brown ale. It was the first beer I ever drank as a fifteen year old army cadet whilst camping.
Mind I've had some horrible beers since then. Singha wasn't bad at all though.
