I've been to Toronto and Montreal many times; Halifax, Winnepeg and Vancouver just once. Fortunately these trips were back in my beer drinking days, so I did get to sample quite a few Canadian beers. On the rare occasions that I have one now it's usually a Black & Tan. Saranac, Yuengling and McSorley's are the easiest to find in this area, but in my opinion, nothing beats a Mississippi Mud! It was the first beer I ever drank as a fifteen year old army cadet whilst camping. Mind I've had some horrible beers since then. Singha wasn't bad at all though.
